    NAARI (est. 1990) is the nation's first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. Celebrate with us by reading one of the above selections then join us for the discussion. Light Refreshments provided.

    We honor and celebrate our legacy of learning in major part to our excellent Black teachers and staffers. Help us honor teachers, past and present who went beyond the classroom and taught us care, justice, and faith.

    When bright six-year-old Ruby is chosen to be the first African-American student to integrate her local New Orleans elementary school, she is subjected to the true ugliness of racism for the very first time. But guided by the love of her mother and father, Ruby's heroic struggle for a better education becomes a lesson for us all.

    Our final Sunday in Black History Month 2020 will honor our Historically Black Colleges & Universities. Wear your school pride and prepare to be rocked by a guest choir, inspired by a guest preacher, and touched by the spirit of God.

  • Annual Senior Ministry Program
