• About Our Pantry

    About 80% of the food given to our clients is purchased from or donated through Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.  This is made possible through the generous donations from our Church Family and friends.  The remainder portion of the proceeds are acquired through well-established Partnerships with various companies, churches, and other organizations, who give graciously, understanding the mission to serve our fellow man.  The Missions Place Community Garden highlights our food distribution with seasonal output of fresh picked fruits and vegetables.

  • Visit tHE Pantry

    We provide food and personal items to individual households in Mecklenburg County, and surrounding areas that are at or below the NC Poverty Scale, disaster stricken, or have an emergency situation.    First Time Clients are required to complete the Request for Food Application, updated yearly.  All Clients are served by appointment.

    How You Can Help

    DONATIONS are welcomed.  Accepting donations of non-perishable food products, household pantry items, personal hygiene items, children's books, baby diapers, adult briefs, etc.  We do have an active Amazon Wish List.  


    VOLUNTEERS are vital to the RMBC Missions Place Food Pantry operation.  We invite work groups, organization teams, school groups, fraternities/sororities, church groups, social clubs, etc. to come for the experience and leave with humbled hearts.  We also invite groups to volunteer at Second Harvest Food Band on our behalf.  Community Service Hours credited for school, work, or personal.
