  • About Our Pantry

About one-half of the food we serve is purchased from or donated through Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.  The other one-half is provided through the generous donations from our Church Family, Friends, our Partnering companies, and not forgetting to mention our Missions Place Community Garden with it's seasonal output of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Visit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina website here.

  • How You Can Help

Volunteers are vital to the Food Pantry operation, whether scheduling appointments, tending to the garden, serving clients, helping with those awkward and/or heavy tasks, or filling in where needed.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Sherry Ashford, Missions Place Food Pantry Coordinator.

*Orientation is required for all volunteers.
